Senior Internal Auditor - Supply Chain Management – 12‑Month Contract

POSITION INFO:
Senior Internal Auditor - Supply Chain Management - 12‑Month Contract An annual remuneration range of between R1 million and R1.3 million. Location: Midrand Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Internal Auditor (Finance & Performance) to join their Internal Audit division on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract . This role is ideal for a seasoned audit professional with strong financial, performance, and SCM audit experience. Key Responsibilities Conduct Supply Chain Management (SCM) proactive assurance audits in line with Internal Audit Methodology and Global Internal Audit Standards. Participate in audit project planning , including preliminary surveys, system descriptions, flowcharts, and control gap analysis. Execute audit testing , develop audit programs, prepare working papers, and perform compliance tests. Compile audit exceptions , draft reports, and present findings to senior audit leadership. Perform follow‑ups on previous audit findings and gather supporting evidence. Ensure quality assurance , including proper documentation and adherence to audit budgets and timelines. Minimum Requirements BCom \/ BTech in Audit or Finance (or equivalent). 5+ years internal audit experience. Experience in: Financial management\/auditing Tender probity reviews Auditing SCM processes Auditing performance information Code 8 driver's licence . Understanding of IPPF, IIA Standards, GRAP\/IFRS, and performance reporting frameworks. Studying towards CIA, CRMA, or CCSA . Membership with IIA SA . Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and corporate governance frameworks.
