POSITION INFO:

Education:

BSc (Mathematics, Computer Science or Information and Technology)

Description

Design and develop Single Page Applications
Experience designing applications (multi layered architecture)
Analyse impact of proposed changes to programs and provide estimates
Produce code that is well documented
Perform quality assurance checks / code reviews
Contribute to the establishment of best practice standards
Prepare technical specifications
Perform unit and system testing
Work closely with Site Reliability Engineering to ensure deliverables are automated and monitored
At least 5 years of experience in software development

Skills:

Java SE
HTML
CSS
SQL
Python (limited)
JavaScript/NodeJS
Java EE 7+
JSR 286 Java Portlet Specification (an advantage)
Angular 2+
REST service design
Consuming SOAP based services
