SUMMARY:
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accountant to join our client in the Sawmill Business
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile financial records
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Ensure compliance with tax laws and company policies
Support audits and provide necessary documentation
Identify opportunities for process improvements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
