SUMMARY:
Client based in the East Rand is looking for Senior Procurement Administrator with minimum of 5 years experience in relevant role

POSITION INFO:
Only Candidates with the following criteria will be considered:

Qualifications and Experience required :

  • Minimum 5 years relevant Procurement Administration  experience with some supervisor or management experience BCom Procurement/Supply Chain or similar qualification essential
  • Experience with working with multiple ERP systems        
    Syspro experience beneficial
  • Excellent excel, word and written communication skills      
    Developed negotiation skills
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES          
  • Manage the procurement process for all direct and indirect supplies, including all products and services          
  • Negotiate a favorable and desirable procurement cost and payment terms for MRM SA with all suppliers          
  • Consolidate all suppliers nationally to negotiate through economies of scale         
  • Negotiate supplier contracts and the implementation and management thereof          
  • Negotiate settlement discounts and increased payment terms         
  • Reduce spending by the business by any and all means possible         
  • Design and implementation of the procurement processes and sourcing strategy and ensure adherence
  • Automate procurement processes where possible         
  • Ensure approval is obtained in terms of the group authority framework          
  • Implement preferred suppliers and the periodic review of preferred suppliers, developing and implementing relevant selection criteria         
  • Ensure 3 valid quotes are obtained where a contract or preferred supplier does not exist        
  • Obtain a full understanding of business requirements
  • Ensure service excellence and engage with suppliers as necessary to resolve      
  • Monitor stock levels, implement minimum reorder quantities for stock replenishment;          
  • Monitor and analyse spend analysis       
  • Approve all new suppliers and assist in onboarding process      
  • Generate relevant month-end and adhoc reports         
  • Maintain and achieve BBBEE spend targets
  • Assists the Head of Finance when and where necessary
People Management        
  • Ensures that financial staff is trained, skilled and that their expertise is optimally applied
  • Ensures that the working environment contributes to improve staff morale and increase Productivity.
