PBT Group is seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead a strategic Portfolio Rationalisation Programme across a complex, federated IT environment.   The successful candidate will take end-to-end responsibility for programme planning, governance, delivery coordination, stakeholder management, RAID, financials and benefits tracking across multiple portfolios and concurrent delivery waves. The role will bring together Enterprise Architecture, portfolio and platform teams, Scrum Masters, business stakeholders and change resources to ensure a coordinated and transparent delivery approach.   Key Responsibilities Lead the Portfolio Rationalisation Programme end-to-end across multiple portfolios and delivery waves. Establish and manage programme governance, including steering committees, decision gates, reporting structures and delivery cadence. Develop, baseline and continuously manage the integrated programme plan, including milestones, dependencies and key decision points. Coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams across a complex, federated operating model. Manage and coordinate Scrum Masters, Enterprise Architecture and Change & Communication resources into a single delivery rhythm. Manage programme scope, schedule, budget, resources, RAID and benefits realisation. Identify and manage cross-portfolio dependencies, risks, issues and blockers, driving these through to resolution. Develop and maintain stakeholder maps and engagement strategies across IT, business, portfolio and platform teams. Drive stakeholder alignment and manage conflicting priorities across different organisational structures and reporting lines. Track the rationalisation opportunity pipeline and associated benefits, including potential TCO reduction and value realisation. Produce weekly programme reporting and executive-level reporting for programme sponsors and leadership. Ensure delivery waves remain aligned to agreed plans, milestones and commitments, with deviations identified and addressed proactively. Support rationalisation initiatives through to execution handover and transition into BAU. Ensure programme documentation, governance artefacts and reporting remain accurate, transparent and fit for purpose.   Requirements 10+ years' experience as a Senior Programme Manager , leading large and complex IT or transformation programmes. Proven experience managing large, matrixed programmes involving multiple teams, workstreams and stakeholders. Strong experience managing programmes across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies . Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams and delivery teams. Strong programme governance experience, including: Programme planning RAID management Financial and budget management Resource planning Benefits tracking Executive reporting Governance and decision forums Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across different organisational levels and reporting structures. Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and resolving dependencies, risks and delivery blockers. Strong experience developing and maintaining integrated programme plans and delivery roadmaps . Experience working within complex, federated or matrixed organisational environments. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present programme status, risks, value and decisions required to senior leadership. Experience managing programme benefits from identification through to execution and handover.   Advantageous Experience Experience with Application Portfolio Management (APM) and Application Rationalisation. Exposure to Enterprise Architecture environments and governance. Experience with SAP LeanIX , particularly: Application Portfolio Management Application rationalisation Portfolio roadmaps Technology risk and compliance Application\/capability information Experience managing programmes involving both business and technical stakeholders . Exposure to large-scale IT transformation, technology modernisation or application rationalisation programmes. Experience within large multinational, industrial or complex enterprise environments.
