Senior Project Financial Analyst/Advisor - Renewable Energy

Our client, an international leader in the field of Renewable Energy, specialising in PV Solar, Hybrid and Wind utility plants, seeks to employ a well experienced and qualified Senior Project Financial Advisor, with proven experience in power plant, Energy and REIPPPP complex projects

We are seeking a committed and results driven senior financial analyst, preferably with a strong background in the renewable energy sector, being assigned to large scale utility power plants and energy generation plants across South Africa.

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You will have completed a Postgraduate/Master’s degree in Economics or Finance, coupled with strong knowledge of South African IPP and Renewable Energy projects.
• You will have gained experience in project finance, direct investment in infrastructure or the renewable energy sector, as well as proven experience in negotiating funds for projects, developments and acquisitions, and providing advise on equity strategies, divestments or equity rotations
• You will have solid background in providing support to the Head of Finance for the Middle East and Africa region, undertaking sound market trend analysis, preparing debt terms and negotiations with financial institutions, investors and banking groups for partial funding of developments
• You must have a good communication style, to be able to develop relationships with cross-functional teams and ensure financial models are adhered to and communicated to junior financial team members, as well as presenting reports to executives and senior managers in South Africa and internationally
• You will be a team player, pragmatic, flexible and an effective collaborator, with a keen eye for detail
