Our client based in Durbanville, Cape Town has been supplying and managing commercial and industrial properties to renters and buyers since 1998. They are looking for a Senior Property Manager to join their team. You will have proven experience with managing sectional title schemes and HOAs. Strong aptitude with figures and the ability to communicate in Afrikaans will secure.

Requirements:

• Matric
• Aptitude with figures
• Must be able to converse in Afrikaans
• Excellent communication skills
• Paddocks courses (STSMA / HOA)
• 3+ years’ senior property portfolio management experience
• Extensive knowledge of sectional titles
• Able to interpret financial statements, levy schedules and budgets
• Valid driver’s license and own transport

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple sectional title schemes and HOAs
• Prepare and distribute meeting notices, compile agendas and minutes
• Attend and manage trustee meetings and AGMs (sometimes after hours)
• Communicate with trustees, directors, owners and service providers
• Oversee maintenance issues and liaise with contractors
• Approve and monitor contractor payments and scheme budgets
