SUMMARY:
A well-established automotive component manufacturer is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join its leadership team. This opportunity is suited to an engineering professional with a strong background in automotive manufacturing, quality systems and continuous improvement.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Lead engineering and quality improvement initiatives Drive manufacturing process optimisation and operational excellence Support new product introductions and engineering changes. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and customer requirements Conduct internal, supplier and customer audits Develop and maintain quality documentation, including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and Control Plans Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality, productivity and efficiency Mentor and support engineering and quality teams Minimum Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 8 years' experience within the automotive manufacturing industry Proven experience in engineering, quality and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, Automotive Core Tools and VDA 6.3 Process Auditing is essential Experience conducting process, supplier and internal quality audits Strong analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills.
