SUMMARY:
A leading engineering solutions company is seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Sales Engineer to join its growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business development, expanding market presence, and maintaining strong customer relationships within the industrial and engineering sectors.

This role is ideal for a commercially focused individual who thrives on hunting for new business opportunities while still maintaining exceptional customer service and account management standards. The ideal candidate should have warehousing, logistics and sales experience.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within target industries.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue growth targets.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Conduct client visits, technical presentations, and solution-based selling.
Understand customer operational requirements and provide suitable engineering solutions.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities effectively.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent after-sales service and support.
Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer demands.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM updates.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree, National Diploma, or BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field AND Marketing and Sales.
Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in technical sales or engineering sales.
Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets.
Strong customer hunting and lead generation capabilities.
Excellent customer relationship management and client retention skills.
Ability to understand and present technical solutions to clients.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
