We are looking for a Senior Sales executive who will manage client accounts and represent companies in selling a range of products and services to industrial, business, professional and other organisations.

 

Essential Function:

• Manage client accounts and represent companies in selling a range of products and services to industrial, business, professional and other organizations.
• Quotes and negotiates prices and credit terms and completes contracts and records orders.
• Arranges delivery of products, installation of equipment and the provision of services.
• Reports to sales management on sales made and the marketability of products and services.
• Follows up with clients to ensure satisfaction with products and services purchased, arranges modifications and resolves any problems
• arising.
• Prepares sales reports and maintains and submits records of business expenses incurred.
• Acquiring and updating knowledge of employer''s and competitors'' goods and services, and market conditions
• Identifying valuable emerging markets and new business opportunities
• Serving as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows etc
• Where necessary, lead and/or support the implementation of business compliance and risk programs.
• Maintain relationships of trust and respect with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Primarily involved in direct contact with customers / clients to acquire new business or develop existing business.
• Participates in sales presentations, developing bids, and responding to proposals.
• At senior levels, likely to set/negotiate product/service terms or contracts.
• A significant portion of compensation is likely to be based on sales results.
Skills and Experience:

Essential Qualifications:

• Relevant degree in Sales, Business Management or a related career field

Experience required:

• Function related experience: 5-7 years
• Project experience: 5 years
