About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive – AdTech Solutions to play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding our client base, and strengthening relationships with agencies, brands, and key marketing decision-makers.
 
This is a senior, commercially focused role responsible for managing and growing strategic client accounts, identifying and converting new business opportunities, and selling innovative digital media, advertising technology, and marketing solutions across South Africa and Africa.
 
The successful candidate will develop and execute sales strategies, nurture senior stakeholder relationships, deliver compelling presentations, negotiate commercial agreements, and consistently exceed revenue targets. You will work closely with agencies, advertisers, and brands to provide customised AdTech and digital media solutions that deliver measurable marketing outcomes.
 
This role is best suited to a high-performing sales professional who enjoys hunting for new business, building strategic relationships, and consistently exceeding revenue targets.

Business Development & Sales

• Identify and secure new advertising and media revenue opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with marketing agencies, brands, and key decision-makers
• Generate new client meetings through networking, referrals, prospecting, and outreach activities
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
• Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate sales forecasting
• Negotiate commercial agreements and close new business opportunities

• Manage and grow existing client accounts
• Understand client objectives and recommend suitable digital marketing solutions
• Develop customised proposals and presentations aligned to client needs
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients regarding digital advertising and media opportunities
• Ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction

• Present digital advertising, branded content, audience targeting, programmatic, and performance marketing solutions
• Work closely with internal campaign, creative, and operations teams to ensure successful campaign delivery
• Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for additional revenue growth
• Stay informed on digital media trends, technologies, and competitor activity

• Maintain CRM and sales activity records
• Track revenue performance against targets
• Prepare client proposals, presentations, and reports
• Participate in sales meetings and business planning activities

• Tertiary qualification in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications or Advertising
• 5+ years' experience in media sales, digital advertising sales, business development, or account management
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Experience selling programmatic, AdTech, audience targeting, data, media, martech, or digital advertising solutions
• Established relationships within leading media agencies, brands, advertisers, and marketing decision-makers
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
