A well-established salon in Plattekloof is looking for an experienced Senior Somatologist to take a leading role within the salon. This position is suited to a confident and experienced therapist who can take ownership, lead by example and make decisions independently. The successful candidate will play an important role in the success and growth of the salon and should be comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the salon and supporting the team. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced beauty and aesthetic treatments Conduct client consultations and recommend appropriate treatments Maintain a high standard of client service Lead and support the salon team Take responsibility for day-to-day decisions within the salon Assist with growing and retaining the client base Encourage a positive and productive team environment Promote treatments and services Maintain professional treatment and hygiene standards Take ownership of the salon's performance and client experience Required Skills & Experience Relevant Somatology \/ Beauty Therapy qualification Solid experience in a professional salon environment Advanced facial experience Dermaplaning Microneedling Laser hair removal Experience with advanced aesthetic treatments Strong communication skills Previous leadership \/ supervisory experience advantageous Ability to make decisions independently Strong client relationship-building ability Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be: Confident and mature A natural leader Highly reliable and responsible An excellent communicator Self-motivated and proactive Comfortable taking ownership Passionate about client service and salon success Able to work independently when required An existing client base would be advantageous.
