Senior Specialist: Cyber Security

Location: Pretoria, Gauteng

A well-esteemed financial organisation located in Pretoria requires the expertise of a Senior Specialist: Cyber Security.

Position Overview:

The purpose of the role is to support the implementation of the information security initiatives of the institution in line with leading practices to ensure that the organisation environment is safeguarded against any security risks.

This is a hands-on role which requires deployment, implementation and ongoing technical administration and enhancement of the various security solutions within the environment.

Stakeholder management.

Financial management and operational management.

Essential Qualifications and Experience required:

Degree, NQF 7 qualification in Computer Science / Information technology or related field.
Honours/Masters would be preferred.
Accredited industry Security Certifications e.g. CISSP, CEH, CISM, CRISC, CCSP will be required.
A minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience as a Senior / Enterprise Information Technology Security Specialist.
