Senior Test Analyst

SUMMARY:
Our client a company specialising in the field of logistics is currently recruiting a Senior Test Analyst that will be responsible for using formal software test methodologies to execute and write system functional test strategy, plans and test cases to test solutions developed by the company to join their team based in the Eastern region of Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Good analytical skills
• Innovation in problem solving
• Understanding of QA Methodologies
• Understanding of SDLC
• 3-5 years of working experience in software testing
• Teamwork with experience of micro-managing small teams
• Effective communication skills
• Multitasking
• Coaching / training experience
• Knowledge of any automation test tool is a plus
• Testing experience within the C# development environment is advantageous
• SQL skills are required
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

Duties:

• Ensure all planned testing project deadlines are met
• Test all requirements set
• Train / coach of other test staff members
• Adhere to testing processes and procedures
• Complete and detail of bugs logged
• Ensure Sign-off of test plans and project plans
• Effective and efficient escalation of testing issues to management

Additional Information

• Will mainly work in a Head Office environment
• Travel occasionally
• Must be willing to work overtime
