JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position requires someone who can tell a great, compelling story that brings to life the Director’s vision by editing the video to world class standards, and bringing all the post-production elements together.

JOB OBJECTIVES

Aligns their plans and thinking for the edit with the Director’s vision (Working with the Director).
Tells a creative, compelling story on the timeline (Editing).
Working with audio in the edit and working with an Audio Engineer to enhance the story with music and sound design. Grading the edit or working with a colorist to enhance the look of the video and help drive the story.
Combining graphics and text with the edit or working with an animator.
Gaining positive feedback on the edit from the Director, Account Director, client and project team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

+7 years experience.
Applicable tertiary qualification.
A portfolio of past work showcasing Editing skills.
