Senior Web Developer

SUMMARY:
One of the best Media and Telecommunications company in South Africa is looking to hire an exceptional Senior We Developer to join their team and build and develop software that will help maximise profit and minimise costs.

POSITION INFO:

Description:

• The role requires a dynamic individual, working in a DevOps team, will be responsible to create and maintain the company’s websites using scripting languages. He/she will supervise a team of developers, assisting with coding, testing, design adjustments and client reviews.

Education:

• BSc in Computer Science / Degree in Information Technology (NQF 6/8 or NQF 7/10)

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years’ experience is web development
• Experience in the development of software using C#, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Docker, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, API development.
• An understanding and exposure to CI/CD, Automation, Google Analytics, Linux Server administration, search engine optimisation, and subscription-modelled businesses. 
• Experience in the usage of Agile development principles and coaching skills.
• Excellent personal organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and carry out multiple tasks.
• A solid understanding of web design and development principles.
• In-depth knowledge of software prototyping and UX design tools.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
• A good understanding of GIT version control.
• A portfolio of web design and projects you''ve worked on.
