JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring improved productivity and efficiencies in all areas of production.
Establish, monitor and control line efficiencies, yields, labour, waste reduction etc.
Manage factory production line areas and all associated activities.
Ensure quality standards are maintained and review.
Ensure safety, housekeeping and quality standards and procedures
Ensure all raw material, WIP and finished goods are all in order for shift hand over
WIP factory stock counts
Follow housekeeping, safety and security procedures that result in a safe and attractive environment.
Follow and comply with all the company’s workplace health and safety procedures.
Maintain adherence to the company standards
Follows workplace procedures and instruction s to achieve good OHS practice
Achieve the company’s goals relevant to this position.

Requirements:

5 years’ experience in the Supervision of FMCG plant
Post matric in relevant field of study
Strong motivation and team-leading skills
Able to work out yields, line efficiencies, application rates
Management of staff and working shifts
Must have food manufacturing experience.
