SUMMARY:
Control, repair, inspect and maintain all small plant, tools, equipment, and yard stock on site in a responsible, productive, and efficient manner, including all site facilities, accommodation, offices, site security & lighting.

Minimum Education

N3 Mechanical / Electrical or Millwright

Additional Qualifications

Supervisory Course; Post matric qualification in a relevant discipline.

Minimum Work Experience

One year experience of 1st level tools and equipment control and repair. Proven experience in excel and admin (Microsoft packages)

Knowledge required for job:

Basic administration skills
Stock control
Customer relations skills
ISO 14001 and 18001 and 9001
Microsoft Word and Excel
Asset control operating systems and procedures
Basic mechanical
Basic electrical
Basic inspections

Key Result Areas:

Reporting on plant availability and repairs
Plant inventory control
Equipment control, maintenance, and minor repairs
Perform fit for purpose inspections
Ensuring functional operation & compliance of all site related operations & facilities (on & off site)
