POSITION INFO:

Job Title: Angular Developer (6-Month Contract)

Location: Onsite, Centurion

Industry: Data and Fibre

Contract Duration: 6 Months

About the Role:

Our client is looking for a skilled Angular Developer to join their team in the Data and Fibre industry for a 6-month contract role. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Angular-based applications, ensuring the performance and scalability of applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Angular applications
Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver seamless and responsive user interfaces
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Implement best practices for coding, debugging, and maintaining software
Participate in code reviews and ensure the overall quality of the codebase
Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver timely solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues, ensuring smooth application performance
Stay up to date with the latest trends in Angular development and industry standards

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as an Angular Developer with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience
Strong proficiency in Angular (version 8+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Experience with RESTful API integration and asynchronous programming
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)
Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, etc.)
Solid understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with the data and fibre industry or experience in telecoms/ISP development is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Node.js or other backend technologies
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
