Job Title: Angular Developer (6-Month Contract)

Contract Duration: 6 Months

About the Role:

Our client is looking for a skilled Angular Developer to join their team in the Data and Fibre industry for a 6-month contract role. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Angular-based applications, ensuring the performance and scalability of applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Angular applications

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver seamless and responsive user interfaces

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

• Implement best practices for coding, debugging, and maintaining software

• Participate in code reviews and ensure the overall quality of the codebase

• Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver timely solutions

• Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues, ensuring smooth application performance

• Stay up to date with the latest trends in Angular development and industry standards

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as an Angular Developer with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience

• Strong proficiency in Angular (version 8+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

• Experience with RESTful API integration and asynchronous programming

• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, etc.)

• Solid understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)

• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with the data and fibre industry or experience in telecoms/ISP development is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Node.js or other backend technologies

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
