JOB SUMMARY:
Urgent requirement for a Skills development Manager at a global Manufacturing company based in the Eastern Cape

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Requirements:

Consolidate the overall training strategy of the company and all its divisions.
Implement BBBEE skills development initiatives and processes to maximise the skills development score.
Lead the CSD pillar in the manufacturing organisation to ensure achievement of Plant Optimization goals.
Act as Skills Development Facilitator, maintaining relationships with Merseta to ensure compliance to maximise available grants.
Implement the Company Education assistance and Bursary programme
Responsible for all Training Specialists and Co-Ordinator’s in Manufacturing with a matrix responsibility for Sales Training and Technical Training (non-manufacturing)

Qualifications & Experience:

University degree
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Learning & development roles in internationally operating matrix companies (essential)
Heavy emphasis in the areas of leadership development, training, facilitation and content creation
Enthusiastic, high-energy L&D expert with well-developed influencing skills with the confidence and ability to work at all levels of the organization
Strong general business acumen, who can work well in a complex matrix environment
results-focused and can execute on ideas.
Ability to work in/with regional/global operating matrix organizations.
Proven coaching skills across senior roles
Strategic Thinker and ability to convert to operational wins
