Skills Development Manager

Key Requirements:

• Consolidate the overall training strategy of the company and all its divisions.
• Implement BBBEE skills development initiatives and processes to maximise the skills development score.
• Lead the CSD pillar in the manufacturing organisation to ensure achievement of Plant Optimization goals.
• Act as Skills Development Facilitator, maintaining relationships with Merseta to ensure compliance to maximise available grants.
• Implement the Company Education assistance and Bursary programme
• Responsible for all Training Specialists and Co-Ordinator’s in Manufacturing with a matrix responsibility for Sales Training and Technical Training (non-manufacturing)

Qualifications & Experience:

• University degree
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Learning & development roles in internationally operating matrix companies (essential)
• Heavy emphasis in the areas of leadership development, training, facilitation and content creation
• Enthusiastic, high-energy L&D expert with well-developed influencing skills with the confidence and ability to work at all levels of the organization
• Strong general business acumen, who can work well in a complex matrix environment
• results-focused and can execute on ideas.
• Ability to work in/with regional/global operating matrix organizations.
• Proven coaching skills across senior roles
• Strategic Thinker and ability to convert to operational wins
