Social Media Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for an experienced and results-driven Social Media Manager to develop and execute social media strategies, grow online audiences, manage social campaigns and produce engaging content across digital channels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing social media and digital campaigns, analysing performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and working closely with internal teams, clients and suppliers.

POSITION INFO:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute the social media strategy, including planning, conceptualisation and reporting. Plan and manage the social media content calendar and create content for ongoing social media activity. Use social media to build brand awareness and increase customer engagement. Ensure content is aligned with the promotional grid, content calendar and overall business strategy. Analyse social media data and metrics to gain insights into customers and target markets. Use engagement posts to gain additional customer insights in line with business objectives. Stay up to date with social media trends, measurement techniques, best practices, benchmarking and new tools. Continuously improve social media performance by analysing relevant data and implementing findings. Manage the execution of social media, native and digital campaigns from briefing through to delivery. Coordinate with internal teams, clients and suppliers regarding campaign timing, approvals and deliverables. Set up campaign schedules, manage formatting and queries, and prepare cost estimates and billing instructions where required. Manage the execution of CRM campaigns, including briefing internal teams, coordinating approvals and ensuring timely delivery. Assist with data cleaning, sorting and preparation for CRM campaigns. Assess social media marketing strategies and campaign return on investment (ROI). Identify and develop new channels and opportunities to improve campaign performance and support revenue growth. Monitor campaign performance and ensure campaigns go live and deliver against predetermined objectives and OKRs. Optimise campaigns based on weekly performance reporting and insights. Coordinate the trafficking of advertising material from clients and creative agencies. Manage digital campaign performance and make adjustments throughout the campaign where required. Compile campaign performance reports and post-campaign analyses, providing meaningful insights and recommendations. REQUIREMENTS National Diploma in Marketing or another relevant qualification. Experience in social media marketing and digital marketing. Strong understanding of social media strategies, campaign planning and content creation. Experience analysing campaign performance and using data to drive decisions. Strong planning and organisational skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously. Strong client service and relationship-building skills.
