Software Development Manager

Required Qualifications:

• IT, Project and /or Business Management qualification
• Preferably - C, Delphi, Python, Android
• Preferably - AGILE Scrum Certification

Experience required:

• A minimum of 5 years Software Development experience
• A minimum of 3 years Software Project Management
• A proven track record of successful project delivery

Responsibilities:

• Create, Plan and Manage the development of software solutions
• Oversee the ongoing drive to increase efficiency, optimisation, innovation, and people development in these environments
• Manage resourcing and capacity planning
• Leading and working in an agile development environment
• Crafting roadmaps
• Managing project budget
• Using technical skills to support and guide a technical team
• Establish priorities and successfully manage deliverables
• Deliver consistent release management, on time, on scope and withing the required quality standards
• Provide various progress reports
• Identify training needs in line with company goals and ensure team training takes place
• Responsible for continuous process improvement
• Manage client expectations and scope adjustments
• Time Track reporting daily
• Manage backlog refinement with the Client/Product Owner
• Manage, design, estimation, and quality activities by ensuring design documentation quality, tracking actual vs estimates, and maintaining a 95% success rate.
• Utilizing communication and relationship management skills to engage with stakeholders
• Using leadership to influence in other areas
