We’re looking for a Software Product Owner to own the product vision and drive development from concept to delivery. In this role, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders, prioritize features, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our software meets user needs and business goals.

What you’ll do:

The Software Product Owner will elicit, facilitate, synthesise, and present technical solutions.

• The candidate will use business requirements to drive the design or review of products define a product vision, scope, acceptance, and implementation.
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales) to deliver product features
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure clear communication of requirements
• The successful candidate will form part of the IT team and report to the Software
• Product Manager.
• Our ideal candidate can work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into usable
  information, which will help to improve systems and processes.
• Continuously analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to improve the product.
• Consult various customers (internal and external) to understand their value chain, structure, functions, and products and/or services.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Challenge the business in their thinking, especially to understand the intent of the business requirement.
• With little supervision, elicit, gather, analyse, document, validate and communicate business requirements (Agile and Waterfall Formats)
• Guide a business analyst on the requirements of the product.
• Guide a UX/UI designer on the requirements of the product feature.
• Determine the feasibility of a proposed project.
• Understand the commercial importance of changes or new features.
• Estimate total project duration based on experience.
• Facilitate Design Thinking Workshops
• Manage User Acceptance Testing

Your expertise:

• Minimum of 5 years’ previous experience as a Product Owner in software development projects.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Agile Software development Projects.

Qualifications required:

  • Certification, Agile
  • Certification,Certified Scrum Product Owner
  • Business Analyst/Product Owner experience in the Retail Industry (Advantageous).
