POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

Understanding scope of work, and criteria
Build test cases prior to starting to test
Write up specifications which take alternatives into account
Question specs, don’t take things at face value
Follow case, and document findings
Research on requirements (functionality, best practice, methodology)
Advise on user experience
Write up technical specification
Write up user documentation
Adhering to time frames
Support of colleagues, as and when necessary
Advising of possible risk scenarios / situations
Use tools provided (YouTrack, Test Complete, etc.)
Follow departmental procedures
Advising of possible risk scenarios / situations

Education:

Matric Certificate
B.Sc Information Science Degree or ISTQB certification
B Com degree including tax specialization

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3+ years regression testing experience and management experience
Finance experience will be an added advantage
Experience in writing business specifications
Understanding of networks
You need to have good understanding of relational databases
Strong MS Excel competency
Good knowledge of software development principles
Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Management and Leadership skill
