SUMMARY:
My International client is looking to grow their South African Team by appointing a Senior Tester / QA Engineer who is able to establish QA processes.

POSITION INFO:

My International client is looking to grow their South African Team by appointing a Senior Tester / QA Engineer who is able to establish QA processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Designing manual and automated test procedures to evaluate each software
product
Meeting with Product Owners / Development Managers to discuss software
specifications and controls
Meeting with Product Owners / Product Managers to assign bug resolution
sing the software as intended (inline with Prototype designs) to analyze its
functional properties
Identify bugs and regression issues
unning test programs to ensure that testing protocols evaluate the software
correctly
Designing, managing and maintaining deployment cycles
Documentation, Feedback and Reporting
Recording of QA results
Feedback to developers on QA results
Documenting and recording of bugs
Documenting of deployment cycles
Preparing and presenting test reports to stakeholders
Completing final tests and creating test reports
Establishing bug identification and prioritization procedures

Technical Competence
Technical understanding of the digital platform, cloud computing and APIs
CP Stackdriver, JS
Building, coding, and implementing software evaluation test programs

Bachelor’s degree in preferably Computer Science; and 5+ years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with Jira, Asana or other similar systems a plus
