  POSITION INFO:
  The Role:

  We are looking for a Technical Solutions Architect for a Global Project.

  Remote/Office based - Pretoria/Midrand/Centurion Area

  Role:

  • Solution design involving all stakeholders (Business/Developers/QA).
  • Design solutions that are scalable, catering for requirements for various international markets (80% standard and 20% customizable), with functionality encapsulated in APIâ??s that can be integrated with legacy/other systems, and frontends that are expandable.
  • Review and present proposals / system solutions to IT Project Lead, DevOps Team, QA Team, and Product Owner / Business team.
  Skills and Experience:

  Technical Functional skills:

  • Minimum of 7 years working experience in Java environments and custom digital solution development
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Technical Solutions Architect
  • Backend Frontend experience and knowledge
  • Experience with software design patterns and object-oriented design
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow Java code
  • Experience with the following technologies:
  • AWS Cloud (migration of applications to the cloud, deployment on AWS, development on AWS, other cloud knowledge and experience, e.g. Azure, Openshift)
  • Serverless
