Special Engineering Project Manager, Midrand – R 900 000 CTC

SUMMARY:
Having been in the key services industry for more than 35 years, this national organisation is on the hunt for a Special Project Manager. This opportunity will not be in the usual space of business

POSITION INFO:

The role will focus on capital equipment expansion or replacement projects but the SPM will also be involved in business improvement, training, trouble shooting, R&D, product development and customer complaints.

It will see you managing the scope, budget requirements and staff, ensuring project timelines are adhered to. In addition, the SPM must facilitate cross departmental collaboration and communication to ensure projects are executed effectively

Minimum requirements:

Essential:

• Relevant industrial / mechanical engineering / project management qualification
• 5 – 7 year’s experience in manufacturing operations
• Minimum of 3 years’ middle management experience with regard to projects

Advantageous:

• Experience in project management with exposure to plastic conversion equipment and/or hydraulics and electrical componentry
