Our client, a leading Financial Institution, is looking for a Specialist Developer (Java) to join their team.

To develop and support software that is specific to the needs of the organisation to help the business achieve its strategic objectives.

Minimum Qualification

Degree in Information Technology

Minimum Experience

7 years’ experience using multiple Microsoft technologies and platforms

Knowledge and Skills required

Basic software applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Internet, Email)
Proficient Java 8/11/17, Spring Framework (Boot, Security, Data), PostgreSQL AWS/containerization, cloud-native development
Java 8+, Spring Framework (Boot, Security, Data), PostgreSQL, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes IaC: Terraform / CloudFormation (advantageous)
Cloud Skills (AWS)Lambda, ECS/EKS, EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, API Gateway
AWS Certified AI Practitioner (advantageous)
Software design patterns, microservices architecture
Agile methodologies CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions)
Source Control: Git (GitHub/Bitbucket) DevOps Principles
