Specialist Engineering Quality & Refurbishment (Kathu)

SUMMARY:
To ensure the engineering practices, products and services (internally & externally) comply to mine quality management systems and standards.

POSITION INFO:
Investigate any non- compliance to these standards or sub-standards performances. Approved new vendor quality systems, which includes but not limited to: • Engineering quality operations • Improvement optimization • People management • Contractor management \/ Service provider management • SHERQ adherence and compliance (in own area of work) • Work ethics QUALIFICATIONS (Essential unless otherwise indicated) • Grade 12 • Trade Test with minimum N3 (Engineering) • Certificate in Quality Control (NQF Level 5) • ARM \/ Supervisory equivalent certificate (NQF Level 5) (Recommended) • Planned maintenance certificate (NQF Level 5) (Recommended) EXPERIENCE (Essential unless otherwise indicated) • Minimum of five (5) years operational experience in a Mining or Heavy industry maintenance environment in Plant and Fleet as a qualifies Artisan • Minimum of three (3) years Team\/ Project leader\/ Supervisory experience in a Mining of Heavy Industry maintenance environment in Plant and Fleet
