SUMMARY:
An established and proudly South African insurance company that is active in the Life, Funeral and Savings market is seeking to appoint a Technical Support Specialist who will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure, from the desktop environment to the software/ applications used by the business. The role is based in Menlyn.

POSITION INFO:
The following requirements are essential for your CV to be considered:

Grade 12
Minimum A+ N+ or similar preferable
2-3 years’ experience as an IT Infrastructure support technician.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) an advantage (current studies acceptable)
Windows 10 certification
Office 2016/2019 and Office 365 certification an advantage (current studies acceptable)
Driver’s licence and own reliable transport essential

The role responsibilities include taking ownership of end user issues; responding to queries; providing telephonic and remote support; trouble-shooting networks, systems, and applications issues to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational problems; ensure connectivity and support users by providing training and advice. Escalate complex issues while retaining ownership of the issue until resolution.

This role is based in Menlyn and will suit an IT Support Technician or specialist who has a strong sense of accountability and urgency in resolving tech related issues.
