JOB SUMMARY:
Our client a National Concern in the stationery and office consumables industry is looking for the following candidate:

1 x Sales Consultant / Executive with a proven track record in this type of industry, someone that headhunts for business and has an honest yet approachable personality.

The right candidate will receive a salary of up to R18 000.00 CTC and an above-average commission, along with a petrol card to assist you in your job role when sourcing new clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description

Organising and Controlling Customer Base:

Learn to use all the company software that is available to you to service existing customers as well as to source new customers for the company.
Plan your sales pitch and compile lists of your specific customers that you are working with.
Work within the framework of budget turnover and gross profit
Communicate with customers when enquiries come in and effectively communicate what product or service would suit their needs best.

Selling Goods and Services:

Prospecting for new clients via all platforms available to you and communicating with prospective clients, new or existing.
Ensure that all your documentation is sorted before calling on a client and always make sure that you identify the needs of the customers correctly.
Explain the benefits of using the client's product or service in a clear and professional manner.
Offer on going customer support, meaning when deliveries of goods or if services have been rendered, always follow up with the client and obtain feedback.

Administration:

Update and maintain customer information on the companies software programs
Communicate with internal personnel, regarding your quotations and if need be loss of business due to competitors.
Keep a record of Petrol usage and report to the correct line of managers.

Minimum Requirements

Critical skills:

Valid Driver’s License (Code 08) is essential
Proficient in MS Office, Excel with excellent computer skills knowledge.
Great telephone manner and can communicate well with customers in Afrikaans and English.
Numerical Skills
Selling Skills is a must, with a great track record

Qualifications and Experience:

At least 5 years sales experience, with a proven track record in exceeding targets
Relevant Sales or Marketing qualification would be an advantage
Own transport is essential
Valid Driver’s Licence
