An international nutritional supplements manufacturer seeks an experienced and detail-orientated Stock and Creditors Supervisor to join their finance team based in Johannesburg East.

The purpose of this position will be to assist with inventory control and processing of stock movements, prepare reports and management of the accounts payable function.

Duties include but not limited to:

Assisting with local and foreign stock control

Generate and analyse stock reports

Preparation of monthly journal entries

Balance sheet reconciliations and review of accounts

Statistical information update and maintenance

Compare standard costing files on Sage

Ad hoc tasks related to stock

Process and maintain local and foreign creditors

Compiling foreign shipping reports

Education:

Matric (Grade 12)

Relevant finance or accounting qualification

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3 to 5 years’ experience in a role taking responsibility for creditors and stock is essential

Supervisory experience is essential

Strong reconciliation skills

Advanced MS Excel skills

Strong mathematical and accounting skills

Passion for numbers and figures

Good understanding of accounting principles

Good relationship building skills

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Team player

Deadline driven

Meticulous attention to detail
