Strategic Programs Lead – Medical Devices

Location: Midrand

Position Overview:

A global leader in the molecular diagnostics industry has a new opportunity available for a Strategic Programs Lead. One will lead, develop, and deliver a pipeline of Strategic Programs within the Management Centre South Africa (serving sub-Saharan African Markets).

The pipeline and the programs within, are focused on shaping access to healthcare - understanding and overcoming barriers while developing approaches that transforms healthcare delivery and striving towards Universal Health Coverage and the health and wellbeing of all Africans. The pipeline is developed and delivered in line with the broader Healthcare Transformation Strategy and objectives and aligned with achieving the medium to long term growth objectives for Management Centre South Africa.

Experience Required across all the following Key Focus areas:

• Situational Analyses
• Innovation and New Business Model Development
• Road-mapping & Strategy Development
• Define and Maintain the Quality Framework
• Stakeholder Engagement and Communication Management
• People Leadership and Management
• SHE Management

Minimum Requirements:

• NQF 7/ NQF 8 in a Science related field
• 3 Years’ solid experience in displaying in-depth Strategic Thinking and Strategic Management
• 5 Years’ experience in Sales, Marketing or Strategy Consulting within the Healthcare industry
• 2 - 3 Years of People Management experience
• Solid understanding of Project Management Principles
• Experience within a multi-national, innovation driven Healthcare environment
• Business Development and sound Healthcare product knowledge
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally
• Ability to display a sound Commercial acumen
