SUMMARY:
Multinational company situated in the Germiston area urgently seeking a Structural Design Engineer.

POSITION INFO:

To join the technical design and engineering team, required to perform design calculations, structural steel design of components and computer analysis of structures.

The Engineer will also be required to travel to sites as required to assist clients with designs, on-site technical assistance during installations and training.

Assist the sales team with detailed explanations of technical information to clients, understanding cost sentitivity of designs, and ethical balance of income generation vs. fiving the client the best offer.

Previous sales experience will be an advantage.

Minimum Qualification & Work Experience:

BTECH / BENG / BSC of Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
3 - 5+ years experience
Proficient of CAD design software (Pref AutoCAD from Autodesk)
Strong technical understanding of steel structures
Good verbal and written communication skills
Valid drivers license
