POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities: Collaborate with architects, designers, and other engineering disciplines to develop structural designs that meet project requirements and codes. Perform structural analysis and calculations using industry-standard software and tools. Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and provide recommendations. Prepare and review technical reports and documentation for clients and regulatory authorities. Ensure compliance with local and national building codes and regulations. Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and support staff. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. 8 years of proven experience in structural engineering. Proficiency in structural analysis software such as AutoDesk products, Prokon, MS Office and MS Project. Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, ASCE). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Experience with bridge design, bridge inspections is a plus.
