Substation Design Engineer

SUMMARY:
Are you the mind behind the megawatts? The Engineer who sees poetry in protection schemes and purpose in every panel? I am looking for a Substation Design Engineer who can turn high voltage into high performance.

POSITION INFO:
Your Mission: Design the Backbone of Power!

From concept to commissioning, you will:

• Design HV/MV substations (AIS & GIS) — from first sketch to final detail
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), schematics, wiring diagrams & layouts that speak clarity
• Develop robust protection & control philosophies
• Perform primary & secondary design calculations with precision
• Collaborate with civil, protection & commissioning teams
• Review vendor drawings & technical documentation with a critical eye
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE & local utility standards
• Support site activities and resolve technical queries during construction

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3–8+ years’ experience in substation design (132kV and above preferred)
• Strong knowledge of protection & control systems
• Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, ETAP, DIgSILENT, or similar
• Solid understanding of IEC / IEEE standards
• Clear technical reporting & confident communication skills
