SUMMARY:
An opportunity for a Supply Chain Accountant for one of our leading clients in the Logistics sector to be based in the Northern Suburbs. PERMANENT POSITION TO START ASAP

POSITION INFO:

Requirements :

Bcom in Logistics / Supply Chain Hons degree or similar with 2 to 3 years cost chain / supply chain experience ideally in fruit / FMCG environment
Good computer software skills (Ms Office and Accpac preferable)
Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
Ability to engage with high energy levels between Finance, Supply Chain and product / Operations departments
Willing to work long hours when required

Responsibilities :

Resolving queries relating to the invoices received
Accurate and timeous analysis of Supply Chain management
Identifying any possible concern areas and resolving the queries
To assist Operations on decision making
Loading and maintaining of cost chain data
Analyze & recon cost chain data for forecasting and other purposes
Container cost recovery analyses
Reporting and Evaluating cost chain data.
Accurate and timeous processing, and analysis of Other Business Invoices
Assisting with Month End Reporting
GL recons/schedules and TP-forecasting
Analysis of Freight costs & recoveries
Assisting with Month End Reporting
GL recons/schedules and TP-forecasting
