Cape Town - Customer Supply Chain Specialist required for luxury brand - 6 month contract

POSITION INFO:
6-Month Contract | Cape Town Are you an experienced supply chain professional who enjoys solving problems, managing customer orders and working across teams to keep products moving? We are looking for a Customer Supply Chain Specialist to join a dynamic environment within the beauty and FMCG sector. You'll play a key role in ensuring excellent customer service and seamless order fulfilment, working closely with Sales, Demand Planning, Finance, Distribution Centres and key retail customers. The Role Manage daily customer orders and returns through EDI and SAP. Monitor and resolve blocked orders, pricing, credit, stock, master data and system issues. Ensure accurate, timely invoicing and delivery in line with customer requirements. Monitor order fulfilment and proactively resolve supply chain exceptions. Maintain accurate SAP material and customer master data. Collaborate with Demand Planning, Master Data, Sales and Distribution teams to ensure product availability and smooth execution. Build strong relationships with key retail customers and support collaborative planning initiatives. Lead operational reviews and act as an escalation point for order fulfilment challenges. Coordinate ordering, shipping and fulfilment calendars with internal and external stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve customer service and supply chain performance. What You'll Need Relevant Degree or National Diploma. 3-5 years' experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning or Supply Planning. Experience in Customer Service within a supply chain environment. Strong SAP experience, ideally with SD\/MM, S\/4HANA or ECC. Experience with EDI and Order-to-Cash processes. FMCG, beauty, cosmetics or consumer goods experience would be advantageous. Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
