JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is needing a Supply Chain Analyst to manage all stock related activity to monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by location.
Assist in the importing of chocolates from overseas factories. Support the end to end master data process.

As the Supply Chain Analyst you will:
• Assist in physical stock take across retail stores (when required)
• Retail inventory reconciliation and present findings at month end meetings
• Process all Goods Receipts as they occur for all inbounds;
• Support the end to end master data process working closely with Lindt UK team;
• Execute inbound container planning with 4 intercompany factories, inbound airfreight an related activities while optimizing freight costs; and
• Identify incidents and propose cause of action (e.g. heat and humidity fluctuations in container temperatures, excessive container damages, and quality related issues).
• Support in the sourcing process: MRP, purchase orders processing, etc.
• Manage the SCM eFreight tool, reporting and challenging 3PL and freight forwarder.
• Maintaining active product library for stakeholders
• Manage the warehouse operations in terms of storage capacity, status of the warehouse (temperature, cleaning, racking), pallet consolidation as well as FIFO.
• Assist in managing monthly billings from 3PL – determining cost savings in warehouse and distribution.
• Other ad hoc tasks as and when required.

Qualifications

• Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Strong Excel skills, SAP experience considered to be a distinctive advantage;
• Tertiary Education degree or currently studying towards; and
• A minimum of two years working experience, preferably in a multinational FMCG environment.
