SUMMARY:
The Sustainability Officer is responsible to assist in maintaining a comprehensive sustainability programme to reduce Carbon Footprint; the implementation of the sustainability strategy, data analytics, reporting and the communication of sustainability trends within the company in order to drive continuous improvement.

POSITION INFO:

- Diploma or Degree in technical or business discipline; sustainability, environmental science or related field.
- ESG Certification will be an added advantage
- Minimum 1 year demonstrated sustainability, environmental management experience/related to
sustainability
- Experience working with environmental management systems or ISO based management systems.
- Work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferable

Knowledge and Skills:

- Knowledge of sustainability dimensions (e.g. environment, trends, best practices, issues etc.) and
technology.
- Understanding of monitoring, measurement and reporting of sustainability targets.
- Understanding of Project Management.
- Well-developed knowledge of ISO14001.
- Well-developed knowledge of local and international Sustainability/ Climate Legislation.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Presentation and facilitation skills.
- Well-developed data analysis, data interpretation and Report Writing skills.
- Ability to conduct research.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to present information to various/diverse audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
