Our client is a well-established, large independent retail business based in Pretoria, operating within a structured group environment and focused on long-term sustainability, disciplined growth, and operational excellence.

Position Overview

This role is positioned as a senior finance leadership appointment with a clear succession pathway for the right individual. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Finance Manager will assume full accountability for the financial function while progressively expanding their strategic, leadership, and group-facing responsibilities.

The role is ideally suited to a high-performing Finance Manager or early-career CA(SA) who is ready to step into a broader mandate, gain exposure to executive-level decision-making, and develop toward a future Finance Director role within a group-integrated retail environment.

Subject to performance and organisational requirements, this role offers progression into a Finance Director position.

Qualifications & Experience

• BCom Accounting or related Finance degree with completed articles

• CA(SA) preferred

• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience

• Retail / FMCG / multi-site environment advantageous
