SYSPRO APPLICATION SPECIALIST (FINANCE)

A well-established organisation within the manufacturing and engineering sector is seeking an experienced SYSPRO Application Specialist (Finance) to take ownership of its ERP financial systems environment. This role is ideal for a technically strong finance systems professional who enjoys optimising processes, driving system improvements, and partnering with business users to maximise ERP performance.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities ð¹ Provide day-to-day support and optimisation of SYSPRO financial modules, including GL, AP, AR, Cash Book and Fixed Assets. ð¹ Configure and enhance ERP functionality to improve financial processes, reporting, and data integrity. ð¹ Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards using SYSPRO reporting tools and SQL. ð¹ Support month-end and year-end processes and ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting requirements. ð¹ Participate in ERP upgrades, implementations, system integrations, and data migration projects. ð¹ Train and support finance users while serving as the subject matter expert for SYSPRO finance-related queries. Requirements â Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. â 3-5+ years' experience working with SYSPRO ERP, particularly within financial modules. â Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance processes. â Experience with SQL and report writing tools would be advantageous. â Previous ERP implementation or support experience. â Exposure to manufacturing or distribution environments using SYSPRO. â Experience with system integrations and business intelligence tools is advantageous. â Knowledge of financial controls, reporting requirements, and local regulatory environments.
