SUMMARY:
A proudly South African business with deep roots in the retail and fresh produce space is looking for a hands-on Application Support / Systems Support Specialist to join their dedicated IT team. If you’re someone who isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves, solve problems, and keep essential systems running smoothly, this role might be for you.

POSITION INFO:

Offering support for key systems and applications used in stores and at head office
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they crop up
Working closely with different teams — from back-office to frontline — to make sure systems are running efficiently
Assisting with software rollouts, updates, and maintenance
Keeping records up to date with clear documentation of fixes and procedures

Skills & experience:
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a systems or application support role
A solid understanding of SQL, databases, and how systems connect and talk to each other
Comfort working in a Windows environment (bonus if you’ve had exposure to Linux too)
Experience in retail, warehousing, or POS environments would be a big plus

Qualification:
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
