JOB SUMMARY:
Job Purpose:

Position will serve as the local owner for sourcing for the supply of components into manufacturing/ metals fabrication and steel industry. These responsibilities include the development, communication and execution of strategies to ensure realization of the business objectives for project, which includes the Cost of Bill of Materials, Target Costing, Should-Be Costing activities, identifying suppliers and supporting planning of incoming materials.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Requirements:

Candidate applying for this role Must have extensive experience in one the following components : Fabrication, Castings, Forgings, Machining of components, special processes such as Painting and should be able to read technical drawings.

Should have good Localization skills and should be able to calculate and break down into different buckets

Application of SIEFSA tables and Contract Negotiation

Experience in developing and sourcing new suppliers

Someone who has developed a strategy for looking at a Bill of Material and taken it into market

Very strong Excel and Powerpoint skills as you will be required on many occasions to analyze data.

An Excellent team player as the role requires someone who will be interacting with other departments and must be a hands on manager,

The the role requires the candidate to operate both at a strategic and operationsl level

Education and Required Experience/skills:

Engineering Degree and/or Commercial degree.

5-8 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to technical manufacturing drawings

3 years of commercial sourcing experience in sourcing

Excellent negotiations skills and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships

Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization

Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments

Experience implementing a compliant supply chain
