This is a hands-on Talent Management leadership role suited to an experienced professional who enjoys creating structure, designing talent strategies from the ground up and personally driving execution. POSITION INFO:
About the Opportunity The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an integrated talent management strategy that supports business growth, organisational capability and employee development. You will partner closely with executive leadership to ensure the organisation attracts, develops, retains and prepares the talent required for future success. This role offers the opportunity to influence organisational culture, leadership capability and workforce development while establishing best-practice talent management frameworks. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the organisation's Talent Management strategy. Design and enhance talent acquisition and employer branding initiatives in partnership with recruitment teams. Develop and maintain onboarding programmes that enable successful employee integration. Design and implement learning and development strategies, competency frameworks and career pathways. Lead leadership development initiatives and build organisational capability. Drive performance management processes and coach leaders on performance improvement. Develop succession planning strategies for leadership and critical business roles. Design employee engagement initiatives that strengthen culture, collaboration and retention. Partner with senior leadership and business stakeholders to align talent initiatives with organisational objectives. Utilise people analytics and HR metrics to measure programme effectiveness and support strategic decision-making. Develop and maintain talent management policies, governance frameworks and reporting. Keep abreast of emerging talent management trends, digital HR practices and future workforce requirements. Minimum Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field (NQF Level 7). A postgraduate qualification or professional certification in Talent Management or Organisational Development will be advantageous. Experience Minimum 8 years' experience in Talent Management. Minimum 5 years managing a Talent Management function. Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Learning and Development initiatives from needs analysis through to delivery. Experience with succession planning, performance management, leadership development and organisational development. Experience working with HR systems, learning platforms and people analytics.
