Tax Associate – VAT / Indirect Tax - Jhb North

We are currently supporting a prestigious tax and VAT advisory firm with the urgent hiring of multiple Tax Associates within their compliance function.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a strong career in VAT / indirect tax, working in a structured, high-performance environment with exposure to complex, multi-jurisdictional work.

Key Requirements:

• Strong academic background in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field
• Genuine interest in VAT / indirect tax
• Strong communication skills (client-facing exposure required)
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
• Comfortable interpreting and applying regulatory frameworks
• Self-driven with the ability to take ownership of work

• Prior exposure to VAT / Sales Tax is advantageous but not essential
• Focus is on learning agility, application, and performance under pressure
• Fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and consistency
