Job Description:

• Responsible for overseeing tax matters for operations across South Africa and Africa
• Review and preparation of Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Provisional Tax, Withholding Tax (WHT), and Transfer Pricing compliance and reporting
• Manage and support tax audits, including correspondence with tax authorities
• Monitor local tax laws and assess impact on operations
• Implement and monitor internal controls for both direct and indirect taxes
• Review and submit VAT returns
• Liaise with internal finance teams to ensure compliance
• Experience with SARS eFiling
• Provide strategic tax planning support and manage cross-border tax matters

• Completed BCom degree in Accounting or Taxation is essential
• Postgraduate qualification in Taxation is preferred
• CA(SA) designation is advantageous
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in tax, preferably in a multinational environment.
