JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Globally known travel/ tourism organization with branches in multiple overseas countries is looking for a Lead Developer to join their organization at their South African-based offices. The Lead Developer will be based at their Parktown branch. They have a hybrid working environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
Understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages.
At least 4 years’ experience in the building of large-scale software applications.
Active working experience in building hybrid web applications.
Experience in the design and integration RESTful APIs.
Understand C#, .Net 6, Angular, JavaScript/ Typescript, and NoSQL/SQL.
Azure knowledge (entry level).
Good experience in debugging and optimization skills.
Experience in unit and integration testing.
Experience in Team leadership.

Job & Company Description:

Provide ongoing support to Developers within the development team.
Assist other Developers with any issues within the code bases.
Review the Developers code and assess technical debt.
Work amid the full stack and build highly scalable distributed solutions that will enable positive user experiences and significant business growth.
Develop new features and ensure infrastructure development in support of fast evolving business and project requirements.
Take on leadership of new projects from conception all the way to deployment through enhancement of live environments.
