Key Responsibilities:

Lead, develop, and mentor a team of 10+ Accountants to deliver high-quality outputs
Review, sign off on and ensure the accuracy of financial statements and all client deliverables
Enhance accounting processes, internal controls, and automation/system integrations
Interpret and reconcile complex financial and blockchain-related data
Partner with stakeholders to support outsourced CFO functions and high-level reporting

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Chartered Accountant (CA(SA) / CA or equivalent) essential
5+ years post-qualification experience
Proven success managing and mentoring accounting teams
Experience within digital assets, crypto-native, fintech, or blockchain-focused environments
Strong understanding of blockchain accounting, ERP systems and integration
Proficiency with digital asset accounting tools
Exceptional analytical, organisational and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to enhance processes, drive efficiencies and implement improvements
Leadership experience in a technical accounting environment
